Delivery Workers Score In Suit Against Saigon Grill

Law360, New York (October 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has sided with nearly three dozen delivery workers formerly employed by Saigon Grill Inc., ruling that the Manhattan Chinese restaurant's owner violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by refusing to pay them minimum wage and overtime.

On Monday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Dolinger in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued a judgment favoring the workers and roundly rejecting the many arguments put forth by owner Simon Nget and his wife Michelle, according to the 80-page order.
