Texas Tops CO2 Emissions In New EIA Study

Law360, New York (October 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Energy Information Administration has released the energy-related CO2 emission statistics from 1990 to 2005 by state, with Texas leading the way with 625.2 million metric tons of carbon dioxide.

This month, The EIA, an independent statistical and analytical agency within the U.S. Department of Energy, unveiled a comprehensive state-by-state analysis of greenhouse gas emissions released over a 15-year period.
