Bally Antitrust Trial Stayed Pending Patent Appeal

Law360, New York (October 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A trial set for next week on antitrust allegations by casino game maker Bally Technologies Inc. against its rival International Game Technology has been postponed, with a federal judge ruling that his recent summary judgment decision on the patent infringement issues in the case must be reviewed by an appeals court before the trial can proceed.
