Sierra Club Initiates Probe Into Ind. Gov.'s Records

Law360, New York (October 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Several environmental groups that oppose the building of Duke Energy Corp.'s $2.35 billion coal gasification power plant in Indiana have demanded that Gov. Mitch Daniels hand over all communications from his office, initiating a probe into whether the governor has been promoting the interests of the coal and utility industries at the expense of the state's taxpayers.
