IBM Sues Exec Who Wants To Work For Apple

Law360, New York (November 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A former IBM Corp. senior executive is due to appear in federal court to explain why he should be allowed to jump ship to Apple Inc. despite his noncompetition agreement with IBM, which is concerned that he will reveal the company's trade secrets to Apple.

Mark D. Papermaster, who worked at IBM for 26 years, is expected in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Nov. 6.
