Calcar Deceived PTO On Navigation Patent: Judge

Law360, New York (November 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has ruled that three patents belonging to American Calcar Inc., which sells user guidebooks for new cars, are invalid because Calcar employees deliberately based them on existing technology used by American Honda Motor Co. Inc. and did not disclose this during its prosecution, overturning a ruling by a jury.
