Nucletron To Settle EEOC Age Bias Claim For $295K

Law360, New York (November 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Medical device maker Nucletron Corp. has agreed to pay nearly $300,000 to settle allegations of age bias brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of a 61-year-old sales director who claimed he was fired because of his age.

U.S. District Judge Benson E. Legg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland on Wednesday signed an order approving the consent decree between Nucletron and the agency. The order will require the medical device company to pay former employee Peter Dove $295,000...
