Woman Slaps Pfizer With Lawsuit Over PCBs

Law360, New York (November 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Indiana woman has sued Pfizer Inc. in a county court, alleging floodwaters from a containment pond on the pharmaceutical giant's Terre Haute facility breached a dam, contaminating her land a mile away with hazardous chemicals.

Indiana resident Dorothy McLaughlin filed the lawsuit Friday in Vigo County Superior Court, seeking costs associated with cleaning up her property and accusing the company of negligence and trespass.
