Univ. Of Kansas Sues NIH Over Cancer Drug Patents

Law360, New York (November 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A research center at the University of Kansas has sued the United States in an effort to add two of its researchers as inventors to two patents used to formulate a blood cancer treatment drug called Velcade and allegedly developed by the school and a division of the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
