Motorola Sued Over Audible Caller ID Patent

Law360, New York (November 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- ClassCo Inc. has filed a lawsuit in federal court against Motorola Inc., Panasonic Corp. and VTech Communications Inc., alleging that the three technology giants have infringed the company's patents for audible caller ID.

The Concord, N.H.-based company filed its case in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts Friday, claiming that unless enjoined by the court, the defendants will continue to infringe the two patents, which will continue to cause the company irreparable injury.
