Comcast Could Face FCC Fine Over Pricing Probe

Law360, New York (November 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Federal Communications Commission might slap a fine on Comcast Corp. for not adequately responding to an investigation into digital cable pricing, Chairman Kevin Martin reportedly has said.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Martin told reporters Tuesday that Comcast hadn't answered the FCC's questions about pricing and channels that have been moved from analog cable service to digital. Comcast and other cable operators may face fines, he said.
