EU Works To Help States Implement Green Laws

Law360, New York (November 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Commission has set out plans to help member states implement the bloc's 200 new environmental laws in an effort to keep governments from missing deadlines, underinvesting in infrastructure or creating weak rules.

The improvements outlined Tuesday are designed to prevent breaches of the European Union's environmental scheme and assist member states in solving problems that citizens or organizations point out and taking on strategic and intensive enforcement work.
