Arthrex Hit With Injunction In Suture Anchor Suit

Law360, New York (November 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal court in Oregon has entered a permanent injunction barring medical device maker Arthrex Inc. from making or selling suture anchors that infringe a patent that was at the heart of a $14.7 million June jury verdict in favor of plaintiff Smith & Nephew Endoscopy.

Judge Michael Mosman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon signed off on the permanent injunction order, which takes effect in 60 days, on Wednesday.
