Deals Rumor Mill: Yahoo, SMCP, Gameloft

According to the report, the California company informed potential bidders via a letter, and the deadline could mean Yahoo hopes to close a deal by this summer. Yahoo as a whole has been a staple of the rumor mill as of late, with recent reports saying the company could soon be acquired by a private equity firm for a price lower than its current market value of roughly $33.5 billion. Potential suitors include Silver Lake Partners, TPG Capital LP, The Blackstone Group LP, Time Inc. and Comcast Corp., according to reports....
