Ex-Thelen Employees Sue Firm Over Pay, Benefits

Law360, New York (November 26, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A putative class including attorneys and other workers has sued Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP, alleging the dissolving firm failed to meet its pay and benefits obligations in violation of federal law.

The plaintiffs, who were notified Oct. 30 they would be out of a job at the end of November, are seeking recovery of damages in the amount of 60 days' pay and benefits in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in a suit filed Nov. 24.
