Fed. Circ. Affirms $9M Penalty Against Qualcomm

Law360, New York (December 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a decision requiring Qualcomm Inc. to pay rival Broadcom Corp. over $9 million in fees for what the lower court found to be misconduct in a suit over video phone patents, but has narrowed the lower court's finding that two Qualcomm patents are unenforceable.
