Most recently, he has focused on antitrust matters, including trying back-to-back merger cases in the second half of 2015. He led the successful defense of STERIS Corp.'s acquisition of Synergy Health PLC against a challenge from the Federal Trade Commission in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He then led Electrolux Corp.'s trial defense of the Department of Justice's challenge to the proposed acquisition of General Electric Co.'s appliance business.
