Oracle Wins Noninfringement Ruling On Web Patents

Law360, New York (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has handed a victory to Oracle Corp. after ruling that the enterprise software maker did not infringe two patents for dynamic Web sites.

Judge Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware granted Oracle's motion for summary judgment against Parallel Networks LLP, which was assigned all rights to the patents-at-issue in 2007 from original defendant epicRealm Licensing LP, a now-defunct Web acceleration company.
