Deals Rumor Mill: TWC, Dalian Wanda, Camping World

By Benjamin Horney (May 5, 2016, 3:14 PM EDT) -- The blockbuster tie-up of Time Warner Cable Inc. and Charter Communications Inc. is one step closer to completion after a majority of the five Federal Communications Commission members looking at the deal gave nods of approval, according to a Thursday report from Reuters. According to the report, two FCC commissioners have given complete approval to date while one gave a thumbs-up but also dissented in part, meaning conditions under which the deal would be greenlit could be changed. Two commissioners have yet to vote, the report said. The U.S. Department of Justice has already approved the $78 billion deal and a parallel $10.4 billion deal that sees the combined entity picking up Bright House Networks LLC despite protests from groups including The Stop Mega Cable Coalition....
