Sparrows Point LNG Project Poses Little Risk: FERC

Law360, New York (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has concluded that a controversial liquid natural gas terminal in Maryland will not have a significant adverse environmental impact, provided appropriate mitigating measures are taken.

The finding was revealed in a final environmental impact statement FERC prepared with the Coast Guard, Army Corps of Engineers and Environmental Protection Agency, FERC announced Friday.
