Law360, New York (August 01, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Boosting the firm’s intellectual property ranks, Steptoe & Johnson LLP has snagged top patent litigator John Caracappa from Akin Gump to serve as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Steptoe & Johnson announced the hiring on Monday, expressing pleasure over the firm’s latest IP hire.
“John has exceptional experience and qualifications as an IP litigator,” said Alfred Mamlet, the head of Steptoe’s IP practice group. “We expect him to contribute significantly to the further development of our patent litigation practice.”
