Healon D Maker Recalls Drug Over Inflammatory Toxin

Law360, New York (December 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Advanced Medical Optics Inc. has recalled one lot of its Healon D product, used in surgeries to treat cataracts, after tests showed some syringes in the group contained levels of a certain toxin that can cause inflammation in patients.
