Obama Names Chu, Browner For Top Energy Posts

Law360, New York (December 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- President-elect Barack Obama filled out more posts in his administration Monday, naming Nobel Prize-winning physicist and climate change expert Steven Chu as secretary of Energy and former head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Carol Browner to lead a newly formed White House energy, climate and environmental policy council.

At a news conference in Chicago, Obama also announced his choices of Lisa Jackson, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection commissioner, to head the EPA and Los Angeles Deputy Mayor Nancy Sutley to direct the White House...
