Time To Revoke Railroad Antitrust Exemptions: Attys.

Law360, New York (December 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lawyers are urging the U.S. Congress to revoke long-standing railroad antitrust exemptions, claiming that the immunities benefit small, concentrated interest groups such as railroads and agricultural cooperatives but harm individual consumers, who bear the ultimate burden of higher prices and reduced quality and innovation.
