Energizer, Spectrum Settle Batteries Patent Suit

Law360, New York (December 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Less than two months after Energizer Holdings Inc. won a permanent injunction barring Spectrum Brands Inc. from importing its Rayovac-brand lithium batteries from China, the two companies have settled a patent lawsuit.

Energizer and Spectrum filed a joint stipulation of dismissal Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, citing a confidential settlement reached last week.
