AmberWave Targets Intel In Fresh Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 03, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Semiconductor developer AmberWave Systems Corp. has fired off a fresh patent infringement lawsuit against Intel Corp. in response to Intel’s declaratory relief action last month claiming it did not violate an AmberWave patent covering semiconductor device fabrication.

AmberWave filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas last Friday, alleging Intel violated its patent for a method for enhancing the performance of semiconductor devices.
