Marine Hose Makers Settle Antitrust MDL For $22M

Law360, New York (December 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bridgestone Corp. and other rubber products makers have reached a multimillion-dollar deal with plaintiffs to settle accusations of a worldwide conspiracy to fix the price of marine hoses sold in the U.S.

Plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Dec. 22 seeking preliminary approval of the $21.7 million deal with five major international marine hose makers.
