Law360, New York (December 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Massey Energy Co. subsidiary has agreed to plead guilty to criminal charges and pay $4.2 million in criminal fines and civil penalties for safety violations that led to the deaths of two miners trapped by fire in 2006.
