Patent Battle Erupts Over Car Entertainment System

Law360, New York (January 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Wireless communications provider Audiovox Corp. has smacked a unit of TMI Products Inc. with a lawsuit, accusing the rival company of infringing a pair of patents covering its headrest-mounted mobile entertainment systems for cars.

On Monday, Audiovox said it had hit Vizualogic with a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, seeking punishment from the court for the purported intellectual property violations.
