Finance Cos. Seek Appeal To Avoid Discovery Costs

Law360, New York (January 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and 11 other financial institutions have asked for permission to file an interlocutory appeal in an antitrust suit involving joint bidding procedures for leveraged buyouts, saying the case should not proceed until the viability of the complaint is established.
