Acacia Settles Patent Spats With Eastman Kodak

Law360, New York (January 06, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Acacia Research Corp. subsidiaries International Printer Corp. and Screentone Systems Corp. have reached an agreement with Eastman Kodak Co. that should resolve patent litigation between the companies in Texas and California, according to Acacia.

In a Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, Acacia said that IPC and Screentone had come to terms with Eastman Kodak Co. on Dec. 31, reaching an agreement geared toward ending Kodak's involvement in a case IPC filed over multifunction printer technology in the U.S. District...
