Indian Court Slashes Clifford Chance Tax Charge

Law360, New York (January 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Indian appeals court has ruled in favor of Clifford Chance LLP, finding that the British law firm should only be taxed for the hours billed in India on three energy projects, as opposed to the entire income earned for its services.
