1st Circ. Affirms Ruling Against Prudential Broker

Law360, New York (January 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appellate court has issued a mandate affirming a summary judgment for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in its case against a former Prudential Securities Inc. broker over an alleged market-timing scheme.

The SEC announced the mandate in the case of Justin Ficken on Tuesday. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit issued the ruling Dec.15 following an Oct. 20 decision.
