Fred Brown Quits Orrick To Join Gibson Dunn

Law360, New York (January 22, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Intellectual property trial lawyer Fred Brown has left Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe and joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in San Francisco as a partner.

Brown’s practice concentrates on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. He has also handled patent infringement, trade secret, unfair competition antitrust, insurance bad faith and employment cases, according to Gibson Dunn.

He managed Orrick's West Coast litigation practice for several years, but gave up his management role about a year ago.
