Morgan Lewis Revamps Associate Bonus Criteria

Law360, New York (January 07, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Associates at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP no longer have to bill in excess of 2,000 hours to be eligible for bonuses, the firm has announced.

The new policy will go into effect for 2009 bonuses and was laid out in a firm memorandum that was posted on the legal tabloid Above the Law on Tuesday.

Morgan Lewis confirmed that it did circulate the memo posted by the tabloid but declined to comment further on the matter. The firm expects to announce 2008 bonuses later this...
