M&A Regulation Catching On Globally: Survey

Law360, New York (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The past five years have seen a dramatic increase in the number of jurisdictions regulating mergers and acquisitions across the world, according to a new survey released by global law firm White & Case LLP.

Of 217 jurisdictions the firm canvassed worldwide, 115 jurisdictions now regulate mergers and acquisitions, compared with 68 at the time of the firm's last survey in 2004, White & Case announced Thursday.
