Deals Rumor Mill: Hewlett Packard, Recordati, Old Mutual

LP, Apollo Global Management LLC and the Carlyle Group LP, are interested in buying some of the $6 billion worth of software assets that Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. may put up for grabs, Reuters reported on Friday. According to the report, Hewlett Packard is mulling the asset sale as an alternative to a sale of the entire company. Other reports said a sale of the company in its entirety was also possible and that such a deal could be worth more than $40 billion....
