Court Upholds Lower Legal Fee In Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (January 12, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- An attorney who won a nearly $7 million judgment for a plaintiff in a sex discrimination employment suit has failed to convince a Washington state appeals court that she is owed a higher judgment contingency rate, rather than a lower settlement rate, for her fee.
