SEC, Ex-Amkor Counsel Settle Insider Trading Suit

Law360, New York (January 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The former general counsel and chief insider trading compliance officer at Amkor Technology Inc. has reached a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on allegations of insider trading, for which he is already serving more than a year in prison after being convicted in a criminal case.

Judge Stewart J. Dalzell of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania signed off on the agreement between the SEC and Kevin J. Heron on Friday.
