Final Claim Tossed In Michigan AG Suit V. Blue Cross

Law360, New York (January 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A state court judge has dismissed the last remaining count in a lawsuit Michigan's attorney general filed against Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in July alleging that the nonprofit health care company broke the law when it acquired a for-profit California insurance company.
