Deals Rumor Mill: Dalian Wanda, AIG, Clearspring Capital

Ltd. intends to "buy Hollywood companies and bring their technology and capability to China," according to a report from Reuters onTuesday that featured an interview with Chairman Wang Jianlin. According to the report, the company is planning to complete two two billion-dollar film-related deals in the U.S. this year. Dalian Wanda already this year paid $3.5 billion to acquire US Legendary Entertainment, the production company behind international blockbusters such as "The Dark Knight and "Jurassic World." No details were disclosed concerning the film companies that the conglomerate is pursuing....
