LG, Chunghwa Execs Plead Guilty In LCD Scandal

Law360, New York (January 15, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Four executives from LG Display Co. Ltd. and Chunghwa Picture Tubes Ltd. agreed on Wednesday to plead guilty and serve U.S. prison sentences for their involvement in a global price-fixing scheme in the sale of thin film transistor liquid crystal display panels.

The U.S. Department of Justice said all four executives had agreed to serve time in prison, pay criminal fines and assist the government in the ongoing TFT-LCD investigation.
