Deals Rumor Mill: GE, QUBE, Officefirst

By Chelsea Naso (August 30, 2016, 4:19 PM EDT) -- General Electric saw its nonbinding offer for wind power joint venture Adwen — owned by Spain-based wind farm builder Gamesa and French renewable energy company Areva — spurned, according to a Reuters report Tuesday. GE made the offer as Gamesa works to merge with Siemens in a €10 billion ($11.14 billion) deal announced in June. Gamesa and Siemens said at the time that Areva would have three months to determine if it would buyout Gamesa's ownership in Areva....
