Deals Rumor Mill: Petrobras, Avolon Holdings, Formula One

By Benjamin Horney (September 6, 2016, 6:29 PM EDT) -- Embattled Brazilian oil giant Petroleo Brasileiro SA, known as Petrobras, has agreed to sell 90 percent of its natural gas pipeline business to a group led by Canada's Brookfield Asset Management, Reuters reported on Tuesday. According to the report, the deal for Nova Transportadora do Sudeste SA is worth $5.2 billion, and others in the investor group include British Columbia's pension fund, Chinese sovereign wealth fund China Investment Corp. and Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC Pte. Ltd. The deal is expected to close in late September, the report noted, and it marks the largest sale thus far in Petrobras' plan of selling $15 billion worth of assets as it works toward reducing serious debt....
