Goody's Gets Final OK For Store-Closing Sales

Law360, New York (January 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge has given Goody's LLC final approval for the clothing retailer's plans to close down its stores and sell its assets as the company proceeds through its second bankruptcy filing in six months.

Judge Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware signed off on the motion for assumption of agency agreement and store-closing sales Tuesday along with several other first-day motions in the case.
