Sleep Diagnostic Companies Sue UnitedHealthcare

Law360, New York (August 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Seven sleep diagnostic companies have taken it upon themselves to wake up UnitedHealthcare Inc.’s billing office, slapping the insurance giant on Monday with a lawsuit for failing to pay the companies for services and equipment.

The plaintiffs are Total Sleep Diagnostics Inc., TSD of Indiana, TSD of Kansas, TSD of Georgia, TSD Ltd., TSD Contract Service Inc. and DFW Sleep Diagnostics Center.

The amount in controversy, exclusive of interest and costs, exceeds $75,000, according to court documents.
