Ex-Call Center Worker Drops OT Suit Against AmEx

Law360, New York (January 22, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- An overtime class action alleging that American Express Co. failed to properly compensate its customer service representatives and other call center employees has been dismissed without a settlement after the plaintiff decided not to pursue the matter.

The case was dismissed Wednesday with prejudice, and each side will bear its own fees and costs, according to documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
