Former AIG Exec Gets 4 Years In $600M Fraud Case

Law360, New York (January 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge sentenced a former American International Group Inc. senior executive to four years behind bars Tuesday for his role in a fraud scheme that cost the company's shareholders nearly $600 million.

Judge Christopher F. Droney of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut also told Christian M. Milton, 61, that his imprisonment would be followed by two years of supervised release. The judge also ordered Milton to pay a fine of $200,000.
