Teles Targets Cisco In VoIP Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- German telecommunications developer Teles AG Informationstechnologien has sued Cisco Systems Inc. for allegedly infringing a newly issued patent related to the transmission of telecommunications data online.

Teles filed suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, accusing technology giant Cisco of infringing a patent titled “Method for transmitting data in a telecommunications network and switch for implementing said method.”
