Judge Blocks FTC Evidence In $1.4B Merger Dispute

Law360, New York (February 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has barred the Federal Trade Commission from introducing a variety of exhibits in its bid to block a $1.4 billion merger of CCC Information Services Inc. and Mitchell International Inc., a deal the agency claims would limit competition in the market for systems used to estimate the costs of auto crash repairs.
